The position is for a highly motivated and skilled "Service Mechanic" who has 2+ years experience with service/repair/replacement for both our Commercial Industrial or Residential Departments. (Licensed S2 D2 preferred, yet good service knowledge is a must). Wages are very competitive, Top offers for good candidates and excellent benefit packages etc.. (See Job Description Below)

Service Technician Licensed with Commercial / Industrial Background

Individuals who have experience with Commercial Industrial locations (Manufacturers, Office Buildings, etc..) seeking to service all types and brands of commercial / industrial HVAC equipment ranging from Rooftop Units, Split Systems, Chillers, Boilers, Cooling Towers, Exhaust Systems, Air Makeup AMU etc.... We service many different customers and have a wide range of opportunity for this position.

Applicant's skills should be capable of:
1.) Troubleshooting and repair of HVAC and related mechanical equipment.
2.) Perform preventative maintenance of HVAC equipment.
3.) Show good communicative skills towards customers and fellow employees.
Applicant's are required to:
1.) Hold a valid Connecticut Driver's License with a good record.
2.) Be capable of climbing ladders, lifting/moving/carrying any object of up to 100lbs weight.
3.) Work independently and together as a team.
4.) Be capable of working daily (Monday-Friday) between the hours of 7:30 A.M. - 4:30 P.M. with the flexibility of working from 7:00 A.M. to 7:00 P.M. M-F for potential overtime pay.
5.) Paid On-call rotation once employee is settled and used to company functions etc.. (On-call is a one week period on a rotation of every 4 weeks)

Service Technician - Residential with some Light Commercial experience

Individuals who have experience with residential and light commercial seeking to service all types and brands of Residential/Light Commercial HVAC equipment ranging from Rooftop Units, Split Systems, Boilers, Hot Water Heaters etc...

Applicant's skills should be capable of:
1.) Troubleshooting and repair of HVAC and related mechanical equipment.
2.) Perform preventative maintenance of HVAC equipment.
3.) Show good communicative skills towards customers and fellow employees.
Applicant's are required to:
1.) Hold a valid Connecticut Driver's License with a good record.
2.) Be capable of climbing ladders, lifting/moving/carrying any object of up to 100lbs weight.

Trade School

The EPA Universal Refrigeration Certification is not a requirement for initial employment, but would be required to be taken and passed within the first two month's of employment (Climatech is capable of offering the EPA Universal Refrigeration Certification Test to employees). Any applicant of any skill or background experience in the trade (Commercial / Industrial / Residential) will be considered for employment.
Commercial / Industrial background is a plus. Additionally any applicant holding a D2, S2, S1 : CT State License or experience of equivalent time and knowledge, is a plus and will be offered the according wage. Climatech offers any employee seeking CT state license to be on the state apprenticeship program.

We have in-house training classes that would improve any status mechanic to a top mechanic in a few years.
